Graphology Introduction
Graphology is the study of all kind of graphic movements, It is the
study of handwriting along with doodles, drawing, sculptures &
painting in order to get insight into the physical, emotional &
mental state of the writer or the artist.
When right-handed the left side of the brain is likely to be
dominant. From the hand reading perspective, your dominant hand is
your public face to the world and makes the active decisions, whilst
your passive hand shows more the personal and private self.
Communicating through writing is a unique human endeavor. Of the
millions of species of life on earth, only human has the ability to
paint, design, scrawl & we are only species that can use graphic
symbols to communicate long after we are dead, through art, books,
wills, music & so on. Graphology is based on the Gestalt on
handwriting; it takes into account the writing as whole. Is it big
or small? Is it neat or sloppy? Is it left or right? up or down?
round or angular? etc. A person’s signature is the symbolic portrait
of the entire personality, both conscious and unconscious, of the
Person.
History of Graphology
Graphology is an old and respected science - the study of
handwriting and its analysis was initially developed by the Camillo
Baldi, an Italian scholar, who published a book on the subject in
1622. The Romans used graphology. A French psychologist Alfred Binet
performed several experiments with handwriting analysis as a device
for testing personality and through the centuries, since then
various civilizations and cultures have analyzed handwriting to
identify the essence of the person.
Theory of Graphology & Handwriting features:-
A person's handwriting & its placing on the paper express the state
of mind of the person. Logically, the brain sends signals along the
muscles to the writing implement they control. By examining a
handwriting, a graphologist can identify the specific characteristic
of the person.
